Robert Woodrow Hight Sr.

Mr. Hight was born in Candor, June 18, 1917, a son of the late Rev. Launie Hight and Patricia Robinson Hight. Bob was a Army Air Corp veteran of W.W.II and was a retired realtor and a former member of Greensboro Board of Realtors. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline O’Brien Hight and a brother, Albea Hight. Bob enjoyed traveling with his wife Polly, county music and cabinet making with B&B Cabinets.

Surviving are a son, Robert W. “Bob” Hight, Jr. and wife Bobbie; a step-son, Bill Bennett and wife Susie; three step-daughters; three grandchildren, David Hight, Teresa Jackson and husband Tommy and Wayne Coble and wife Trish; five great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery by Rev. John Vernon. The family will receive friends at Davis Funerals and Cremations Wednesday from 6 until 8.
