Rochell Royster Caldwell

Rochell "Roc" Royster Caldwell, 74, transitioned unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 following several months of declining health..

Rochell was born in Guilford County, May 3, 1949, a son of the late Royster Martin an Dorothy Caldwell. He graduated from Dudley High School in Greensboro and then served in the United States Marine Corp. Roc owned and operated Caldwell Enterprise for over forty years. He was a dedicated member of Williams Memorial CME Church. Roc was preceded in death by a sister, Marietta Anderson and brother, Reginald Martin.

Roc leaves to mourn his passing are his wife, Earline Smith Caldwell; two daughters, Denise Caldwell and Tabitha Robinson (Alice); a sister, Janice Martin; four brothers, Royster Martin (Evonne), June Martin (Carmen), Weldon Martin (Monya) and Vincent Martin; a grandson, Liam Robinson; sister in law, Jackie Martin and a brother in law, Donnell Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

At Roc's request, no services will be held.
