Roger Michael Boggs

Michael was born in Guilford County, January 29, 1958, a son of Roger and Mary Boggs. He worked for Golden State Foods for many years, driving a truck, which was one of his passions as was taking care of his granddaughter, Skylar. Michael was an accomplished golfer and enjoyed playing poker online and with family. Michael was a loving husband, father and son. He was preceded in death by his sister, Ivy Boggs Daut.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Lou Ann Boggs; a daughter, Stephanie Boggs; two step-sons, Zachary Roach and Derek Roane; step-daughter, Stacy Roach Taylor; his parents; a sister, Lisa Boggs Shelton (Delane); two brothers, Nick Boggs and Arthur Boggs; grandchildren, Skylar, Drake, Zain, Hunter, Della and Lily; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 2pm in the chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations. Visitation will follow the service until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
