Ronda was born August 30, 1942 in Guilford County, the daughter of the late Donald Edward Emory and Vetra Alverta Hauser. Ronda was a member as well as the Secretary for Ward Street United Methodist Church for years. Ronda sang on the church choir, worked with the Youth Group on Sundays, and volunteered at the food pantry. She stood beside her husband, Darrell of 36 years, who was the Minister of Maintenance at Ward Street United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime Girl Scout, serving as a leader and the cookie cupboard manager.
Her favorite hobby was crocheting and she made over 100 afghans that she donated to retirement centers and others in need. She would read, rather than watch television.
Preceding Ronda's death was her husband Darrell Grissom.
Surviving to cherish Ronda's legacy are her two daughters; Teresa Lewis (James) and April Davenport (Ray), her seven grandchildren; Pamela, Alyson, Jamie, Lily, Kimberly, Lewis and Elijah, and three great-grandchildren; Jackson, Norah Grace and Cruz.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Full Gospel Miracle Ministries.
A Graveside Service for Ronda will be held Friday September 19, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Floral Gardens Cemetery in High Point.
