Roy was born in High Point, November 9, 1929, a son of Henry Clay Hunt and Lillian Cranford Hunt. He retired after 30 plus years with American of High Point. Roy enjoyed raising chickens and other types of fowl. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Catherlene Cole Hunt and a daughter, Rhonda Hunt.
Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friend at Davis Funerals & Cremations Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m.
