Ruby Turner Lanier 89 passed away peacefully on May 9, 2014 at Westchester Manor in High Point. She was born in Anson County, North Carolina. Ruby worked in the shipping dept. for Adams-Millis Company. She was a member of the English Road Baptist Church. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Carl B. Gaddy, Vernon Lanier, three sisters and two brothers.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Dean Peacock of High Point, a son James T. Gaddy and wife Faye of Thomasville, four grandchildren and eight Great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday May 13, 2014, 2:00pm at Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St. Thomasville. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home.
