Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service with Visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Oliphant was a native of Buffalo, NY and a daughter of the late Albert Nelson Clark and the late Elsie Rosenau Clark. She was a longtime member of Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church and a retired beautician. She found special joy in cooking, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Oliphant; and two sisters, Eleanor Linder and Elise Hodge.
She is survived by a son, Richard Oliphant and wife Dot; and a daughter, Shirley Ring, all of High Point; four grandsons and one special granddaughter; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
