I first met Sadie at church. She was such a delight to know. I am writing for myself, but also for the Presbyterian women of First Presbyterian Church in High Point where she attended. We are all saddened to hear of Sadie's passing, but also rejoicing as she enters heaven. We are keeping all of the family in our hearts and prayers. In Christ, Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church.

My Aunt Sadie was one of the most Christian and classy ladies I have ever known. She was my mother's aunt (Joanne Hodges Hodge), but they actually looked like sisters. Sadie was always so loving, and was always a beam of light when she walked into the room. My family has so many Precious Memories, sharing the holidays with Sadie and Ben at Grandma Gertrude and Bill's house in Dobson. Also, at her house in High Point. She was so dignified and poised, and was a matriarch of the family. We miss you so much Aunt Sadie! But we are at peace, knowing that you are reunited now with all of your relatives. We will all be reunited on the other Shore one day. You are greatly missed and loved, forever.
Love,
Susan
