Sharon Quinces Anderson

Sharon Q. Sams Anderson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her beloved family and friends on June 20, 2025. She was born in High Point, NC on March 31, 1948, and was raised in Jamestown, NC. She was a business owner that provided environmental services. She loved being outside enjoying her pool, walking about checking on and taking care of her most prized flowers and plants. She loved helping others navigate life. She loved most of all her family especially her boys and she could be found talking to family and friends about how proud she was of the men that they had become.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, P.E. Sams, her mother, Nellie Mae Hill Sams, her brother, Wesley Sams and her former husband, lifelong friend and the father of her boys, Ray Anderson. Surviving are her sons, Shawn Anderson (Patricia) and Chad Anderson, her grandchildren, Stevven (Christy) and Kristian (Bryan), great-grandchildren Brycen, Cady, Kali, Kaila, and Braxton. Surviving also are her siblings Stephen Sams, Donna Minton and Suenell Taylor. She also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be August 7, 2025, from 6pm to 8pm at Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 976 Phillips Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
