Sula D. Gladson

Mrs. Gladson was born March 22, 1911 in Fannin County, Ga. to Joseph and Callie Arp Denton. She had been a High Point resident for the past seventy years and was employed with Archdale Manufacturing Company until she retired in 1976 after forty years of service. In 1934 she married George Homer Gladson who preceded her in death in 1946. Also preceding her in death were a son, Rex Gladson, two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson, Rex Gladson, Jr.

Surviving are her daughter; Margie Massey and husband Frank of Greensboro, five grandchildren; Sarah Massey Draughn, Susan M. Morris, Lisa G. Clodfelter, Judi G. Sikes, and Cindy G. Hayden; Nine great-grandchildren; Murray and Michelle Landstreet, Christian Morris, Hilary and Jessica Sikes, Kristen and Dustin Clodfelter, Matthew and Chad Hayden; and three Great-Great-Grandchildren; Vasher Shultz, Avery Hayden, and Trystan Harris.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point with the Reverend Louis J. Canino officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
