He was born on August 12, 1943 in Alexandria, Virginia to the late John Edward and Catherine Virginia Dale Harrington. He served in the U.S. Army for 5 years. Mr. Harrington owned a landscaping business for several years, where he grew a big love for gardening and horticulture. He enjoyed his family and loved music.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a son Lorn Daniel Harrington.
Surviving Mr. Harrington are his son Geoffrey Harrington and wife Rachel of Benson; grandchildren, Ginger and Bradley; sister, Joan Jandzinski and husband Chet of Elma, NY;
and nephews, David and Kurt and a niece, Dana.
A memorial service will be held at Senters Rest Home in Fuquay- Varina in the near future.
