Thomas L. Reeves, 77, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 26, 2019 following a brief illness.

Thomas was born in Grayson County, VA, December 10, 1941, a son of the late Gwyn and Tessie May Spurlin Reeves. He worked at Alma Desk for many years and retired from Davis Furniture. Thomas loved to ride his tractor while working in his garden and watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed old westerns, NASCAR and the Tar Heels. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Reeves, a sister, Irene Furr and five brothers, Bobby, Mack, Curtis, Dean and Bill Reeves.

Surviving are two sons, William Reeves and Johnny Reeves and wife Cherie; four grandchildren, Matthew Reeves and wife Alexis, Ashley Vickers and husband Jason, Brittany Reeves and Kaleb Reeves; five great-grandchildren, Camden and Lyla Reeves, Thomas, Laith and Carson Vickers; a sister, Linda Hawks and husband Pete; and a brother, Larry Reeves and wife Diane.

A Celebration of Thomas's life will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Floral Garden Park Mausoleum by Pastor Kevin McCormick and Pete Hawks. The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.

Tommy was my ex brother in law but he was a good person I always thought a lot of Tommy he was a good father and a good husband. He would do anything to help you if he could. He will be missed.
