Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Floral Garden Memorial Cemetery.
He was a native of High Point and a son of the late Dewey Thomas and the late Nancy Johnson Thomas.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Thomas and Jerry Thomas and wife Mary Ellen, all of Thomasville; three grandchildren, Holly Conrad and husband Kevin, Andy Steed and wife Angela, and Desiree Ann Thomas; three great grandchildren, Braxton Ray Pass, Nicholas Riley Pass, and Cody Steed; and special daughters, Darlene Owens and Kaye Trantham Mills and husband Gary.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Sechrest Funeral Service in High Point.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hinkle House Hospice in Lexington, NC.
