Toby Darrell Elkes Jr.

Darrell was born in Guilford County, NC March 28, 1965, a son of Toby Darrell Elkes, Sr. and Faye Elkes. He worked for Norling Studio's for many years. Darrell enjoyed growing vegetables, especially tomatoes, fishing and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a good cook and could make the best bacon! Darrell was preceded in death by his sister Misty Dawn Elkes; his grandparents Peter James & Lucy Elkes, and his grandmother Lilly Patrick.

Darrell is survived by his parents; brothers Donald Elkes and his wife Nancy and Ronald Elkes; his adopted brother, Buck Boyd and his wife Barbara; his nieces Makayla Elkes, Hollis Elkes and Hope Elkes;, his fur nephew Roscoe and his uncle Harold Patrick & wife Sue.

A Celebration of Darrell's life will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jonathan Scarboro. Burial will follow in Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers are Buck Boyd, Jacky Elkes Jr., J.J. McClure, JR Patrick, Billy Scarboro and Robert Scarboro.
