Tony Mark Westmoreland, 58, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at his residence following a two year battle with cancer.

Tony was born in High Point, December 30, 1959, a son of the late Hughes P. Westmoreland and Irene Jones Westmoreland. He owned and operated T & R Furniture for several years. Tony loved the coast and was an avid fisherman and boater. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Sue Westmoreland, Linda Smith and Debra Loggins.

Surviving are his fiancé, Sherry Pell; a brother, Hughes P. Westmoreland, Jr.; two nieces, Christy Alexander and Erica Crotts; a nephew, Jonathan Leonard and wife Tisha; a great niece and four great-nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Sechrest Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.Sechrestfunerals.com.
