Dear Family,

I was saddened to hear of Aunt Viola's passing. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many memories of her through the years, mainly at the family reunions, but my greatest memories are of her smile always present, her laugh and her love of life. I will miss her greatly, but will take consolation in knowing what a wonderful reunion she is having with Granny Morton, Uncle Jesse, PawPaw Jack and others who have gone on before her and that we will be reunited one day in Heaven.

I remember when Timmy and I first got married. We stayed with Viola until we could find our own place. She always had a smile on her face. People joke about mother-in-laws being mean but I can tell you I had a wonderful Mother-in-law in Viola. She had a good long life and now resides with God.

Miss Viola had a smile that would light a room...and heart as big as the sky. I considered her a friend as well and a hair customer. We have laughed...and cried..and griped and hoped together. She will be missed! With a heavy heart I hope that she is dancing again today..even though I can't see it. No more pain...no more tears..
