Bill was born June 8, 1946, in Guilford County; a son of the late Robert Glenn Albertson and Dorothy Elizabeth Robbins. Bill was raised on his parent's tobacco farm and when he went into the Air Force, he thought it was a vacation! But continued farming and gardening every chance he got. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He raised beef cattle and horses.
Bill has a very funny personality who loved to talk and tell stories. He wasn't a stranger to anyone. He would load up his truck full of produce and take off visiting friends, hospitals, and the community giving everything away for free and come home with an empty truck. He let people do all his chores for him, but enjoyed all his cooking for everyone! He was a member Hopewell Methodist Church.
Preceded Bill's death are his three sisters; Josephine, Shirley and Lucille and two brothers; Robert and Don.
Surviving to cherish Bill's life are his wife of 50 years, Kay Albertson, his daughter, Angela Albertson, three sisters; Ann, Georgia and Frances and one brother; Frank and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
