Bob and I worked together for years at Retail Credit Company (now Equifax) in the insurance and employment investigation field. We kept in touch for years after while he operated his own investigative firm in Pontiac and I lived in Grand Rapids. He was always fun to be with and had a great sense of humor. He was very loyal to his friends a good all around guy. We knew each other for almost 40 years and I will sure miss him.

I happened to drive down Auburn Road yesterday, saw the building where Preferred Service used to be and wondered what became of the good family that owned it. I worked for Mr. Allers for awhile at that office in the late '90s. He was a kind and generous man with a wicked sense of humor. I remember that he used to have those silly dancing hamsters on his internet screen saver and he just would crack up every time they sang. Funny thing to remember about someone, but there it is. I left the company just about the time he got diabetes. I wish peaceful moments to the friends and family. I am sorry in your loss.

My dearest Bob you are already missed, you always showed everyone a good time when we were at your house. The best cook in the world, no one could even come close to the meals you prepared. Your personality was great and always laughing and joking around, never a dull moment with Bob Allers around. You would be so proud of your family showing their tribute and honor to you. Wanda was amazing staying with you right to the end right by your side and staying so strong. I love you and most of all I am so happy to know that you are in heaven with your dear son Eddie.
