Cecelia Mary Slone

Cecelia Mary Slone, age 85, born March 20, 1931 in Detroit, MI and passed away peacefully April 2, 2016 in White Lake, MI surrounded by her family. Loving daughter of the late Paul and Mary Bak. Adoring wife to the love of her life for 60 years, the late Richard. Respected and cherished mother of Richard, Steven (Renee), Walter (Robin), John (Kathy) and Kevin. Treasured grandmother of nine grandchildren along with their spouses and 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Emily Lukasik and beloved best friend of Ida Morgan.

Cecelia was a talented artist who enjoyed painting. Her artwork will always be admired as a true testimony of her God given talent. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Highland Chapel of the ELTON BLACK & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3295 E. Highland Road. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. Her final resting place will be alongside her beloved husband Richard at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Memorial contributions suggested to the Diane Watson lung cancer fund.
