Born on May 19, 1973, in Bay City, Michigan, Chad was the beloved son of Gary Ellsworth Nuttall and Peggy Jean Cheek. He grew up in Linwood and Zilwaukee, Michigan, before later moving to Holly, where he graduated from Holly High School in 1991. Chad went on to play football at Saginaw Valley State University and built a career spanning more than 30 years with PECO Car Wash Systems.
Above all, Chad was a devoted family man whose life revolved around the people he loved. As a loving husband and father, he cherished time spent with his family and took immense pride in being a dad to Emma and Noah.
Chad especially loved spending time at his cabin at Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta, Michigan, carrying on the treasured family traditions he learned there while creating new ones with his own family. Together, they enjoyed the things Chad loved most—fishing, hunting, exploring the woods for morel mushrooms, and searching for pudding stones. Chad also found joy in working in his garden and was known for his thoughtful and caring nature.
Chad shared a special bond with his mom, Peggy, who describes him simply as a wonderful person with a heart of gold.
Chad’s legacy will live on through Emma and Noah, through the family traditions he treasured and passed along, and through the many memories shared by his family and friends.
Chad is survived by his wife of 15 years, Danielle; daughter, Emma; son, Noah; mother, Peggy Cheek; Motherdear, Patricia Nuttall; brothers, Scott (Cherie) Nuttall, Phil (Nikki) Clark, Aaron (Sarah) Belich, and Stephen (Tara) Nuttall; sister, Jennifer Belich; nieces, Alyssa, Emily, and Isabel; nephews, Caleb and Landon; and many cherished friends.
