

Dawn M. Craig, a resident of Goodrich, died peacefully in her daughter’s home, surrounded by love, on June 16, 2026, at the age of 58. She was born on September 3, 1967, in Pontiac, Michigan to Joseph and Barbara Gustinis.
Dawn was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend. She found joy in the simple blessings of life. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved children and grandsons, who were the light of her life. She loved the beauty and peace of the ocean and the warmth of the sun. Dawn enjoyed being surrounded by people and never met a stranger. She had a deep love for gardening and spent countless hours tending to her flowers and plants. She also had a special love for animals and faithfully fed the wildlife in her yard each day, taking comfort in caring for God's creatures.
Dawn was the joy in so many lives; a bright, loving soul whose presence made the world a better place. She loved God deeply, and her unwavering faith in Him carried her through life’s greatest challenge’s, filling her heart with strength, peace and hope; all while inspiring those around her. She was soft-hearted and deeply caring, she gave love freely and made everyone feel welcomed and valued. She was genuine, honest, and beautifully herself, always finding reasons to smile, laugh and spread happiness to others. Her warm heart, kind spirit, and genuine love for others touched so many.
Her memory lives on through her children, Sharnae Craig and Michael Craig; her grandsons, Jeffery Johnson and Henry Schiefer; her brothers, Joseph Gustinis and Bryan Gustinis; her sisters, Holly Gustinis and Kerrie Gustinis; her niece, Taylor Gustinis; and her nephew, Daniel Gustinis.
Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Keener; her beloved husband, Michael L. Craig; her mother-in-law, Yvonne Craig; and her aunts, Ginny Gustinis, Barbara Gustinis, and Patricia Gustinis.
In honor of Dawn’s memory, a private Celebration of Life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frankenmuth Florist.
Dawn's kindness, compassion, and love for her family, friends, and all of God’s creatures will remain in our hearts, and will be cherished always.
