Delores Ruth (Hawes) Passmore, age 89, of Waterford, met her Savior on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty-six years, Edward; her three sons: Ed (Lynda) Passmore, Bryan Passmore, and Mike (Patty) Passmore; her six grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Dell Hawes; and her sister-in-law, Nancy.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Delvan and Lula Bell (Bentley) Hawes; her sister, Jenny; and her two brothers: Ralph and Dennis.
In accordance with Delores’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland, Michigan 48356. Delores’s friends will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am.
