Elaine Meta Patterson

Elaine Meta Patterson, a long time resident of Highland Twp., passed away April 25, 2013 at the amazing age of 104. She was a special person who taught, loved, prayed and cared for so many. Her legacy will be carried forward through the lives and laughter of those that she touched.

Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Patterson Sr. Loving mother of the late Harry (the late Beverly) Patterson Jr., the late Roy (Patsy) Patterson, Donna (Jorge) Pacheco and Glenna (the late Steve) Callaghan. Loving grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 24 and great-great-grandmother of 6. Dear sibling of her “Baby Sister” Anita (the late David) Campbell and the late Frances (the late Leslie) Thomas. Sister in law of Alvie (the late Dorothy) Patterson. Survived by countless nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Rd., Highland. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. (In State 10:00 a.m.) at the Orchard United Methodist Church, 30450 Farmington Rd., Farmington Hills. Burial at Highland Cemetery.
