Evelia Tori

Evelia Tori, age 84 of Milford, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her home. She was born on September 27, 1929 in Pescia Italy. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas whom she married in March 8, 1950; her children Anna (Anthony) Wisniewski, Gildo (Jane) Tori and Antonio (Susan) Tori; her grandchildren Carlo Wisniewski, Lia (Josh) Kaufman, Monica Wisniewski, Valerie (Clint) Dougherty, Marco, David, Brianna, Tom, Trevor and Tyler Tori; her siblings Guilio Fini, Silvio Fini. She was preceded in death by her parents Leonilda and Angelo Fini; her brothers Amedeo and Mario Fini. Evelia was a talented seamstress, designing and creating custom draperies. She was a member of Cornerstone Church. She loved playing cards, reading Italian novels, cooking and baking her delicious bread. She most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 29, 2014 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Rd., Highland, Michigan 48356 Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
