Francis Begley of Highland, passed away February 2, 2017 at 79 years of age. Loving father of Ruth Ann (Jerry) Penkala of Shelby Township, Frank (Amy) Begley of Oxford and Judy (Gary) Leja of Highland. Treasured grandfather of Susie Galea of Albuquerque, NM, Raychel Rowlett of Ponca City, OK, Mark(Kimberly) Runkle of Elmore, OH, Brian Begley of Lapeer, Allan Begley of Lapeer, Amanda (Jordan) Laskey of Higgins Lake, Braxton Begley of Oxford, Julia Begley of Oxford, Matthew (Amber) Frederick of Perrysburg, OH, Timothy Frederick of Highland and Sarah (Tyler) Robinson of Virginia Beach VA. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Elmeta Stewart.
A memorial service along with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
