Beloved of husband of Kandy for 55 years. Loving father of Tricia (Gale) Russell, Jason (Tracy) Trace and the late Tara Trace. Proud grandfather of Katie Russell, Jack Trace, Kristina Trace and Elly Trace. Brother of the late Kathleen Collins.
Mr. Trace is a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Milford and a very active former member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Hartland. He retired from IBM after many years of dedicated service. Among his many interests, he enjoyed baseball and was instrumental in organizing the baseball tournament through IBM for 14 years. He loved to work outdoors and garden. He was a very talented carpenter and helped build his house and finish his walk-out basement. "Frank enjoyed a good challenge", he will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church, 620 General Motors Road in Milford. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Monday at church from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Glen Eden Lutheran Cemetery in Livonia.
