Gloria Lynn Goines

Gloria was born June 2nd 1959 in Detroit Michigan to the late Edward and Marion Swenders

Gloria met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Goines, and they were married in 1992 in Detroit, Michigan. Bob passed away before Gloria, but their love and the memories they shared remained a cornerstone of her life.

Gloria had a special bond with her cat, Peaches, who she treated like a beloved family member. Peaches brought her joy and companionship.

Gloria’s friends were an essential part of her life, and she had so many who loved her dearly. Whether it was a simple gathering or helping each other through life’s ups and downs, her friendships were filled with love and laughter.

Gloria was passionate about her work in the maintenance field, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. She loved staying active and was always on the go, helping her friends, family, and community whenever she could.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews who will always remember her kindness, energy, and unwavering support.

Gloria was preceded in death by her nephews, Smiley and Little Red; her brothers, Robert and Richard; and her parents, Edward and Marion Swenders.
