Hall C. Hancock, age 88, of Rochester Hills; passed away peacefully on December 15, 2011. Mr. Hancock served proudly In the United States Armed Services. He was a member of the VFW Post # 9914 and belongs to the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association. Beloved husband of 33 years to Helen; dear father of, Dennis (Mary Jane) Hancock, Valerie (Mary Jo) Hancock, Hollis (Mary) VanNieulande, Hall John Hancock, Vicki Brown; proud grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 16. Mr. Hancock was preceded in death by his daughter Alison Clair (Michael) Orzel. The Funeral Service will be Monday, December 19, 2011, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. The visitation hours will be on Sunday from 3 until 8 p.m. There will be a VFW service at 5 p.m. The family will gather at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m; Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery, where military honors will take place. Memorial donations to Season’s Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
