Helen Duthie Ratliff, age 93 of Clarkston, passed away January 8, 2013 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 74 years to the late James Sr., who preceded her in death on November 15, 2012. Loving mother of Elizabeth Heness, James Jr. (Char), Suzie (Bill) Jones and the late Patricia Livi; grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 16 and great-great grandmother of 2; sister of John (Gail) Bruff and the late James (Shirley) Bruff and Albert (Donna) Bruff. Helen was a member of the OES #239. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Rd., Highland, MI. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with an Eastern Star service at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
