Ida Jean Rupersburg

Ida Jean Rupersburg, age 84 of Hartland, Michigan, passed away on August 27, 2028. She was born on February 24, 1942 to Franklin and Lillian Shaw in Montgomery, West Virginia. Ida was a member of a secretarial group. She was a devoted member of All Saints Lutheran Church. Most importantly, Ida loved spending time with her family.

She was the beloved wife of Frank for over 66 years; loving mother of Jeffrey (Dawn) Rupersburg and Gary ( Colleen) Rupersburg; grandmother of Charley, Savannah, Kelsi and the late Jennifer; sister of Alice (Victor) Byers, Ruth Harper, Richard (Cindy) Shaw and the late Kenneth (Dorothy) Shaw and Robert Shaw.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am until the time of service.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens, 5233 Rocky Fork Rd., Cross Lanes, West Virginia 25313
