James Alan Babb, age 80, of White Lake, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2026. James was a Union Benefits Representative for UAW Local 36 Wixom Assembly Plant for Ford Motor Company and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and was very involved in his community and his church.
Husband of Karen; father of Leah (Stephen) Bonnett, Theresa (Mark) Bowen and Alan (Charlene) Babb; grandfather of Alex, Danielle, Samantha, Billy, Justine, Cody, Jake and the late Aric; great-grandfather of 17 and great-great-grandfather of 2.
The family will receive visitors for visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356.
