Jared "Behmer" Behmlander

August 9, 1999April 29, 2021

Jared "Behmer" Behmlander, age 21, of White Lake Township, passed away April 29, 2021. Cherished son of Darren and Tracie Behmlander. Loving brother of Sydney and Nathaniel Behmlander. Treasured grandson of Mavis Behmlander. He will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, and other family and friends. Jared was preceded in passing by his grandparents: Vern Behmlander, and Ralph and Eldy VanLiew.

Jared's life reflected the quiet observation of what was going on around him. When possible, he would be careful of revealing his true emotions to allow others to feel and then he would add his words and comfort to each soul in his path. Conversations were important to him. He would be the best listener. We are all part of Jared's ongoing story. All our love, the Behmlander family.

Thank you so much.... words can not describe. When I told jared I wanted to be like him, I really meant it. This world as we know it was and is a better place because of all of my family, jared especially. I want to be more thoughtful, caring, strong willed... help others who need it...if I could do one more thing and no other... it would be to spend time with my family i.e. Fishing, bingo , go to the movies ( and watch Matrix ten more times, Lord of the rings trilogy, Band of brothers). The list goes on... I miss my whole family everyday, just sharing a
Meal has always been great. Too many people I know have no one... I have everything I need and then some. You just can't beat a solid family that sticks together, supports their dreams, wishes and even accomplishments. Thank you jared for showing me strength, encouragement, above all, love. Love uncle marv

We went to high school together and the best way to describe him is a hard working gentleman. Treated everyone from best friends to strangers with respect. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones. The world lost a great one.

I lost a son , a friend !!! Just got back from officiating a wedding where I could not hide my abundant tears! I had to leave the stage from time to time in an effort not to spoil the ceremony. People did not realize that.
I met Tracie and Darren over 30 years ago while I was studying at Ferris State University as an exchange student from Haiti. Lots of memories however I will never forget how three years ago I needed to go through a gallbladder surgery and my wife and I flew all the way from a Haiti to Michigan. Tracie took a whole month off from work so that she could make herself available to us. About a year after that I was sick again and she opened again her house and her heart to host us again. My family is hers and her family is mine.
I really do feel like losing a son...As someone out it, heaven has a received a little angel... bye bye my little driver when I am in town! See you in Heaven someday...

One of the nicest and most respectful kids that I've had the pleasure to meet. I will always remember the smile and positive attitude. The world needs more people like Jared. We lost a great one way too soon.
