I couldn't think of a greater great uncle than my great uncle John. I'm grateful for the childhood 4th of July memories he provided at his lakehouse, though I wish I could have known him better, but I'm glad I got to see him in 2018 when my grandfather Jim, his brother-in-law passed (another great man who is deeply missed). I extend my condolences to all of John's family and friends.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of John. We had so many fun times and laughs at work over the years. I'll miss his booming laugh, our talks about the U.P., and us picking guitars. My deepest sympathy to the family. I will miss you friend.

I will always remember John as the most loving and caring family man I know.
He always had his door open to all family members near and far.
I only went to one fourth -of -July gathering but it was memorable and enjoyable!
We will miss you. God Bless - Gail

I can still remember the joy the John had when Jade was born. John was my friend and attended Wayne State Labor School with me. He was my alternate committeeman on midnight's for years.
It was also a pleasure to see him on the lake. Since we lived on the other side. I'm comforted to know the he and Jo are back together. God Bless.
