Joyce Carol Raupp

Joyce Carol Raupp, age 76, of Highland, Michigan, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. Born in Newberry, Michigan on May 28, 1948, she was the daughter of Edwin and Ida Nichols. Joyce retired from the Huron Valley School District, where she worked in the Food Service and Transportation departments, finding joy in her interactions with the children of her community. She cherished watching birds at her feeders, tending to her flowers, and most of all, spending time with her friends and her beautiful family, including her four grandsons.

Beloved wife of the late Douglas C. Raupp; loving mother of DeAnna (Andre) Paquette, Darrin Raupp and Daniel (Courtney) Raupp; grandmother of Nicholas, Benjamin, Logan and Luke; sister of Eileen Williams, Betty (Les) Foster and Nancy Hall.

Please join us in celebrating Joyce's life and supporting her loved ones at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, Michigan 48356. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2024 and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service on Saturday.

Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans, American Cancer Society of the Oakland County Humane Society.
