She was the daughter of the late Omer Gagnier and Marie Louise (St.Pierre) Gagnier. Lorraine worked as a stitcher for many years in New Bedford. She enjoyed being with her family and going to family cookouts.
She is survived by her husband Arthur H. Ouellette. They were married for 27 wonderful years; her daughters Michelle (the late Wayne) Pacheco, Diane (John) Andrade and Denise ( Pastor Mario) Chadina; her brother Raymond (Lorraine) Gagnier. Lorraine also leaves behind many, many grandchildren and great children.
Lorraine was predeceased by her brothers Adelard, Albert, Roger, Leo, Rene and Paul and her sisters Rita and Jeannette.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am (In state at 10:00 am) on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Highland Hills Baptist Church, 179 Woodruff Lake Rd., Highland, Michigan 48357. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356. Burial will be in Highland Twp. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Highland Hills Baptist Church transportation fund.
