Maria Anne Elliot, age 58 of White Lake, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Beloved wife of Samuel D. Elliot Jr. for the last 18 years; loving mother of Chad (Melissa) Flinchum; proud grandmother of Jackson; step mother of Daniel Elliot and Krystal (Jimmy) Goodman; sister of Bill (Gina) Flinchum, Bob (Michelle) Flinchum and Sherri (Marshawn) Flinchum; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Maria loved her grandson Jackson. He meant the world to her and she treasured spending time with him. She loved her family. Maria enjoyed caring for her dogs, horses, and miniature donkey. She was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and quilting. She enjoyed riding with her husband, grandson and friends in their dune buggy car.
Maria was dedicated to her job as a nurse, taking great care of her patients. She worked for Huron Valley Hospital and most recently West Lake Health Care Campus.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356. The funeral services will be private. Burial will be in White Lake Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
