Michael G. Howard

away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at his home. Mike was a hardworking family man. He

worked for General Motors for over 30 years, eventually retiring and moving from his home in

White Lake to Harrison, Michigan. Mike was always active in various civic organizations like the

NRA, VFW, Moose Lodge, and Eagles club. Mike was an active member of the Lions Club for

many years in Harrison and achieved the honor of 2nd Vice President in 2013. He loved the

outdoors and couldn’t wait for deer hunting season to begin each year. Mike also enjoyed

playing and coaching softball, as well as bowling. He belonged to the Animal House Bowling

Team, where he was known as Howard the Duck.

Mike was a much beloved husband to Suzanne; loving father of Tamara (Gary) Jackson, Michelle

Munn and Terasa (James) Lawrence; grandfather of Joe, Alycia (Lindsay), Dravin, Patrick,

Cassandra, Justin (Britany), Shelby, Jesse, Michael, Leanne, Andrew (Jenni), Laura, Katie;

great-grandfather of Logan, Audrey, Sophia, Riley, Jace, Nora, Jolene, Savannah, Stormly, Oliver;

brother of Diane Tennant and Karen Howard.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Highland

Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 East Highland Rd., Highland, MI 48356.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 11:00 am until the

time of service. Burial will be in White Lake Twp. Cemetery.
