

Beloved soulmate and husband of Dina Maria for 43 years. Loving father of Michael II (Michelle), Christopher (Kari Lynne), Joseph (Heidi) and the late baby infant, Sean Thomas. Proud grandfather of Michael III (Katie), Nicholas (Darrian), Sarah, Samantha, Gabriel and Lily. Treasured great-grandfather and Godfather of Vivian Lee. Brother of Mary Blackstock, Kimberly (Ed) Mackey, Terry (Kris) Kilgore, Jack (Janice) Keller, Bruce (Pascale) Koop and Larry Koop. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Antoinette Jozwik. Siblings, Pamela Bidinger and Chuck Callahan along with his stepmother, Vernice Lozar.
Mr. Jozwik was born on January 24,1949 in Pontiac, Michigan to Joseph and Antoinette (nee Herrbach) Jozwik. He graduated from Pontiac Northern High School in 1967. He was US Army veteran, who proudly volunteered to serve our country at a young age. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1968 and served in the 101st Airborne and 3rd Infantry in Vietnam and Germany. During his time in service, he earned the US Army Expert Infantry Badge.
In 1972 he ran an ad in the local newspaper to prepare income taxes, he received 15 clients and built his business up to 1300 clients with no further advertising, just his kind heart. In 1974 he received his Bachelor of Business Administration and minor in Science of Taxation from Walsh College.
For most of his career he worked for the United States Post Office where he was the Treasurer of the Postal Credit Union for years as well as a board member. After many years of dedicated service, he later became Postmaster before retiring and devoting his time to his Income Tax business.
Michael was a proud member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Waterford where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Stewardship Committee. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and going to the casino. He loved to travel, especially to Mexico, Europe and out West. His kind heart and loving personality will be missed by all.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 S. Lynn Street in Waterford. The family will receive friends at church from 9:00 am until the time of the mass at 10:30 am. Michael will also be recognized with military honors following the mass.
