

Nancy Kay (Blakeley)Chatterson White lake Michigan. Passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 80. She was surrounded by the love of her family. She was born November 26, 1944 in Berkeley Michigan.
Nancy was the daughter of Gerald D Blakeley and Ruth E (Roat) Blakeley. She was the beloved wife of the (late) John W. Chatterson. Nancy was a woman whose life was built on hard work and devotion to her family. She worked tirelessly throughout her life but no matter how busy she was she always made time for those she loved.
Her greatest joy was being a wife mother grandmother and great grandmother. She left behind her children Brian Force, Scott (Brenda) Force, and Kathy (Randall) Elliott. Her grandchildren Tina Owings, Holly Foust Courtney Johnson, Gerald Force, Patrick Force, Krystal Quick, Justin Hockey, Brandon Hockey, Lukas Elliott, and 17 great-grandchildren. She found happiness in their milestones laughter and even mischief. Her siblings were (late) Sharon Libkuman, Judith Mayes, and (late) Gerald Blakeley, also many nieces and nephews.
Her family was her world and she made sure each one of them knew how deeply they were loved. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome whether with listening ears, a quick witted remark or a simple act of love. She lived her life with strength and deep devotion to family, a legacy that will be carried on through the many lives she touched. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life and love she shared freely.
Nancy will be deeply missed but her story lives on in her family she so dearly loved.
Visitation will take place at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, located at 3295 East Highland Road, Highland, MI 48356, on October 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same venue on October 8, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442, on October 8, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
