Pam was a wife, mom, grandmother, and friend—and the people she loved were always at the center of her world. She shared her life with her husband, Steve, and was the best mom and friend to her daughter, Raquel (Andrew) McIllmurray, and son, Trevor (Daza) McCabe. Being “Meme” to Max, Jake, Ava, Zynel, Nolan, and Mayah brought her tremendous joy.
If Pam loved you, you knew it. She was fiercely protective, incredibly loyal, and always there when the people she cared about needed her. She was strong, independent, and completely herself—qualities her family and friends loved and admired.
Some of Pam's happiest times were simple ones: motorcycle rides with Steve, dinners with family and friends, being with her grandchildren, and spending time with her dogs. She took great pride in the beautiful home she created and had a sense of style that was unmistakably hers. And anyone who knew Pam will probably always associate the scent of patchouli with her.
Pam had friendships that lasted a lifetime and a way of leaving an impression on the people she met. She will be missed most in all the everyday moments—the dinners, conversations, laughter, rides, and time together that never seemed extraordinary until they became memories.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Leroy Bishop, and her brother, Gregory.
Her family will miss her deeply, talk about her often, laugh about the things that were uniquely Pam, and carry her with them always.
