Patricia A. Falzon, age 84, of White Lake, passed away June 7, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Raymond G. Falzon. Loving mother of Raymond L. (Annie) Falzon, Ron (Deborah) Falzon, Richard P. Falzon, Kathy (Vaughn) Mouradian and Karen Falzon. Proud grandmother of Kristina, Brie-Anna, Brittany, Ryan, Olivia and Evan. Treasured great-grandmother of Ryman. Cherished sister of Jackie (the late Gordon) Cartier, the late Larry (Doris) Hogan, MaryJo Scully, Dan (Judy) Hogan, Rosemary Russell, Margaret (Dave) Cabaj and Father John Timothy Hogan. Dear sister-in-law of the late Lawrence Falzon.

Patricia Ann Hogan Falzon was born in Flint, Michigan on April 14, 1934. She was the second oldest of 8 Children and the Daughter of the late Everett Lawrence and Ardis Irene Hogan.

The Hogan Family, of Irish-Dutch decent, lived very modestly in farmhouses in Linden and Parshalville. Pat’s father worked for General Motors-Milford Proving Grounds as a locksmith. They didn’t have a lot of money, but the Hogans were rich in what is really important in life: Family, Love, and God! Patty Hogan was known for her Smile, Positive Outlook on Life, Sweet, Caring, Unselfish, Giving Ways. She left an Everlasting Impression, and Sprinkled “Sunshine” to everyone she met. Pat loved Family, Friends, Travel, Cooking Irish and Maltese dishes, Sewing, Crafts, Bible study, Boating, Snowmobiling, and Camping.

Pat attended Linden Elementary, Hartland Jr. High, and graduated from Hartland High School in 1952. While in High School, she was president of Future Homemakers of America, Captain of the Cheerleading team, and as a member of the Hartland Choir, she sang the Messiah at the Hartland Music Hall. Also, Pat spent summers working at Waldenwoods Resort as a banquet server.

Pat worked for General Motors-Milford Proving Grounds as an Engineering Department Secretary. While compiling reports, Pat met Raymond G. Falzon, a young Mechanical Engineer. She recognized him from St. Augustine Catholic Church. Both Pat and Ray were very shy, so they needed help from family to make the introduction. A fake car problem by her sister Mary Jo, led to a date at Weber Supper Club in Ann Arbor and movie High Society. The song, “True Love” by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly summed up their marriage of 59 years. Ray and Pat were married November 9, 1957 at St. John Catholic Church, Fenton, Michigan. Her greatest pride was her husband and raising 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

In Pat’s words, “I am so grateful for Life’s Amazing Journey with many Family and Friends here on Earth.” She is now looking down and looking after us all in Heaven with her “True Love” Ray.

I thank God every time I think of you. Phil. 1:3

Patty and I have been known to spend many joyous hours reminiscing over the years. She is my idea of the best and most saintly person on this earth. I know that she is now enjoying the get together of those dear souls who have been waiting to rejoin her in heaven. She will be sorely missed by those of us left here.May the peace she dearly deserves be hers. love always. Your loving sis.

Pat was the most wonderful friend and neighbor anyone could have. Over the past 18 years, We had so many chats and visits and we are all saddened. She was always there for anyone in need and loved to keep up with the neighbors. She will be missed greatly.

Patty was one of my dear cousins with whom I spent lots of time while growing up, visiting the Hogan farm in the summer. She was 8 years older than I but I adored her. She was so sweet, kind and beautiful. I know she is at peace with all her loved ones.
