Philip Joseph Sedlock of Highland, passed away August 15, 2015 at 68 years of age. Loving husband of Emily. Father of Eric Sedlock and the late Judith Ann Wightman. Grandfather of Alanna Marie Wightman. Brother of Patricia Ann (William) Speicher and Michael Douglas.
Philip was a Navy veteran and very active with the DAV where he served as a service officer and adjutant for the past five years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Highland, an avid car enthusiast and wrote articles for Cruise Magazine.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3700 Harvey Lake Rd, Highland Charter Township. The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M., Wednesday at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road and Thursday at church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Private interment on Monday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the family in Philips memory.
