Phyllis Jean Fischer

Phyllis was born to Richard and Florence Loesel, in Frankenmuth, MI and spent her youth there. She went on to attend Michigan State University. Phyllis taught school for several years.

She married Konrad M. ‘Mike/Doc’ Fischer in 1960. Phyllis spent many years of living on and enjoying Duck Lake in Highland Township, Michigan with her family and friends. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with Mike and spending time in Florida, Arizona and California.

Phyllis is preceded in death by Mike, her parents, her brother Wally Loesel and her sister Donna Hasse, as well as her sister-in-law Pat (Loesel) Kuck and brother-in-law Irv Hasse. Phyllis is survived by her son Rob (Kim) Fischer and her grandsons Curtis and Michael Fischer, of whom she was extremely proud of and found great joy in being with. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A private family service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan where she will join Mike in their final resting place.
