Robert William Davis Jr.

Robert W. Davis Jr., age 70, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 in Manistique, Michigan. Robert was born in Pontiac, Michigan to Helen and Robert Davis Sr. They preceded him in death. He was the beloved husband of the late Mereada; loving dad of Teresa (Phil) Way and Kim (Glenn Tibbetts) Davis; grandpa of Tressa, Nichole, Dayna and the late Michael; great-grandpa of Derek, Jade and Anthony; brother of Elvira (Bob) Butts, Betty (Bob) Adler, Judy Parrish, Charles (Dawn) Davis, Calvin (Leslie) Davis, Kathy Captian; step-father of David, Sharon, Tina, Debbie and the late Frank; uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Robert worked in the construction industry for many years. He also worked at Groves Restaurant in Highland Twp. He enjoyed gardening and surrounding his home with beautiful flowers. He loved to sing and had a wonderful sense of humor. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Rd., Highland Twp. Michigan 48356. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Highland Twp. Cemetery directly following the service
