Rose Marie Bommarito

Rose Bommarito, age 88, of Highland; passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2012. Mrs. Bommarito was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit as well as the Women’s Club for over 10 years. Beloved wife of the late Angelo; dear mother of Doreen (late Douglas) Crump, Jerry Bommarito; grandmother of Michael (Dawn) Bommarito, Christopher (Melissa) Crump, Lisa (Carl) Grunwald, Joe Bommarito, Jamie (Paul) Buckley, Sandy Bommarito, Brian (Lise) Bommarito, Jeff Bommarito, Ferris (Mark) Kelley, Jeremy Bommarito; along with many great grandchildren. Mrs. Bommarito was preceded in death by her children, John Bommarito, Joseph Bommarito, James Bommarito, and great-grandchild James Crump. The Mass of Resurrection will be Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3600 N. Harvey Lake Road, Highland. The visitations hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. along with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. Mrs. Bommarito will lie in state at the church on Friday at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass; Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield; Memorials suggested to Church of the Holy Spirit Building Fund or Alzheimer’s Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
