Scott Edward Vallette, 61, of White Lake passed away on December 31, 2025 at his home. Scott was born in Pontiac, MI and spent his life in the Highland/White Lake area. He is leaving behind a legacy defined by a wild spirit, a kind heart, and a life lived unapologetically on his own terms.
Those who knew Scott will remember him as the guy who always showed up. If someone needed help—moving a couch, fixing something, or just a place to land—Scott was there, no questions asked. Over the years, his home became a revolving door of roommates, friends, and more than a few animals who needed a safe place to stay.
Scott took great pride in his lawn, treating it like a badge of honor. He could spend hours outside, making sure every line was straight and every edge was clean. And when the work was done, he knew how to enjoy the moment: a cold beer in hand, a bonfire crackling, the music turned up loud enough to feel it. His Jeep was his escape, and off-roading was where his free spirit felt most at home—mud on the tires, wind in his face, and not a care in the world.
In his later years, Scott stayed closer to home, but his curiosity never slowed down. He loved exploring the world from his living room, diving into shows like Aerial America, Ice Road Truckers, and anything on HGTV. If it involved fixing up old cars, he was hooked.
Scott was stubborn in the way only the most loyal people are. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit—untamed, generous, and full of life—will live on in the people who loved him.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Brittni (John Arrowsmith), and beloved grandpups Theo and Eleanor. He is also survived by his siblings Jeff Vallette and Phyllis (Terry) Goucher; nieces and nephews, Jon, Amber, Aftyn, Willy and David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marie; brothers, Jimmy and Chuckie; and nephew, Buddy.
