Spencer Ethan Hale

Spencer Ethan Hale (1999-2016). Our dear sweet Spencer tragically left us in the early morning hours of July 3rd 2016, having endured more than most can imagine. We are completely saddened by his loss, but we are grateful for the end to his suffering. His courage and grace were a testament to the strong man he had become. He was a generous, sweet, funny, loving true friend and above all very brave. Childhood cancer is an insidious disease that no family should face. Spencer was truly blessed to have his parents Denise and Steven Hale caring for him every day. He was the light in the lives of his grandparents, Jack and Darlene Rooney and to be met in heaven by the late Billie and Zelma Hale. He was the special nephew to Rikki and Rick Gross and Laurel and Raymond Nadolski. He was a fun loving cousin to Tye, Lia, Brittany, Cullen and Raymond, Jr. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-8 pm. At Spencer’s request, “fun clothes only, please do not wear black”.
