Uncle Steve was an amazing human, just like my mom mentioned, he never had anything bad to say about anyone. Steve always told me how proud he was of me for becoming a nurse and taking care of people, he thought it was admirable. I loved that Uncle Steve was so easy to talk to, you could talk to him for hours about anything and everything. I remember one Christmas just sitting there and chatting with him and he was so non-judgemental. Uncle Steve had a lot of love to give and he was a very friendly free spirit. This is such a great loss for this family. I love you Uncle Steve, I hope you're at peace and pain free.

Steve Howard was a great man. I fell in love with him the very first time I met him. His love for others and his kindness was overwhelming in a really good way. He never had a bad word or thought to say or think about anyone. He was always looking for the good in everyone and everything. Even though all my kids are very different he loved and encouraged each and everyone of them. They thought he was the best uncle ever. Steve was a great family man, friend, and brother. He will be missed.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all family and friends of Steve . There are no words that can describe how an individuals life affects the world in which we all share. We are all much richer for the loved ones that are here and gone. GOD BLESS

I’m sad to here about Steve. I was fortunate and honored to be able to say he was my friend and buddy. Steve took me to my very first LYI event back in 1971. I am also very fortunate to be able to say I got to know the entire Howard family along the way especially Brian. Again it was an honor and a privilege to be able to say I knew Steve when. He was as I saw it a very cool person.
Thanks Steve for hanging out with me for a while back in the day.
