

She was born in St Charles, Kentucky in 1934 to Rube and Verna Matheny she was one of ten children. She was known for her kindness, warmth and comforting southern cooking. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her devoted husband, David Packo whom she met in 1992 and then married in 2015.

And Great Grandchildren, Travis Mitchell, Trevor Marshall, Abella Jean, Amya Marie, Leah Ann, Maizee Mae and Ensley Mae who will forever cherish her memory.
Thelma left us to walk with the Lord and her deceased Grandchildren Matthew, Christina, Donald and Abraham.
Her final resting place will be Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan. The family will be holding a celebration of life on May 17, 2025. Time and location of celebration will be anncounced at a later time.
