My favorite memory of Uncle Tom was when I was young.

He came to the house with "Glow Sticks". No one in the neighbor hood ever seen them before....
Us kids thought they were the coolest thing ever...Hence, Uncle Tom was a very "Cool" Uncle.
My cousin Steve and I spent the whole night outside "Hey...I bet Astronauts use these!" as we swung them around...
Better than catching fireflies.....

I remember his laugh... sometimes he would get tears to his eyes from laughing so hard...
He also smiled at lot.

Every time I see firefly's it reminds me of Uncle Tom's "Glow Sticks" when I was young.....

Because we as well as the Alders moved to Grand Reserve about 3 years ago, we only knew Tom for a relaitvely short time. He was a good neighbor who lived three doors down from us. His quick smile and kind manner made us feel close to him. He was always willing to stop and talk and always had a humorous anecdote on his lips. We will miss him. Our prayers are with Jo and the family.

I had the privilege of getting to know both Tom & Jo as their real estate agent. What I didn't know, was that I got to know a very decent, good man that loved his wife and family very much. He always made me feel like a good friend. He will be missed by many.
Memory Eternal.

Thank you Uncle Tom for creating the incredible memories that I have growing up... you were someone I always looked up to and forward to being around and to introducing my friends to, although I had to be careful bringing pretty girls around you. Although the years have passed, the memories never will!
